A dragon on the other moon
A degree of dream away
In the dragon lands
Of the lunar sands
Conversing in silence forever to stay

I am that dragon, awake in our minds
Nameless as long as my wings have been furled
Called upon by an outside distress
So far removed in a forgotten world

Those who share my reality
Now are set apart from me
For I alone received this plea
The lone lighthouse across the sea

Of space and dream...

Spindles of thought, stronger than horn
Relay awful memories vivid and moving
No word for what has me so forlorn
But no doubt there is not much hope of improving

Those who share that reality
Could benefit from what I see
For I along with those with me
Can guide this lion across the sea

Of space and dream...

Those who blend with my existence
Dragons of my violet shade
Live in this constant canopy
Ignoring those in temporal glade
And though this life is optimal
And though this life is what I choose
I now believe in a new position
More lives to gain, nothing to lose
And so my mind moves in new directions
Bridging chasms left by peers
Ready to appear clairvoyant
To save those who I draw near
And this lion shall see the cosmos
And through their eyes I shall see the sky
And we will create another utopia
Along the lines those strange lands lie

A new purpose?
Perhaps nearly
But for now
I am merely...
