Perhaps the dragon isn't really at peace, but they sure aren't at war with robots here. These two things work nicely as a pair, I think.
lyrics
[A Dragon at Peace]
The smooth, cool stone of my craggy home
Still damp from the runoff of my drying wings
Feels good against my violet scales
As I hear the sound of violent hail
Outside, but also within.
Wet to dry, dusk to dawn
To change I am always drawn
Heralding a mix of blue and red
Of water and fire
Despite spitting neither
And yet I should be content
For I am a symptom and not the cause
But to be the cause, how amazing that feels
As I rend myself free
From autosymbolic claws.
I twitch my tail, eight meters in length
To think the humans fear this strength
Guarding the hoard
They suppose I plundered
And yet they find me a wonder
And I suppose they're right in that
A flying myth amidst the mist
For I've never stayed long
In reality's song;
Only magical stories persist.
But I've done nothing legendary
Besides, perhaps, often inspire
Self-righteousness-fueled heroes
To fight through fear of
My nonexistent breath of fire.
So this brings me to why I am
Discussing with this floor of rock
My legacy before my mind
Like there's something left to find
As if I hadn't taken stock
So then I think, perhaps I'll sleep
And curl up into a purple heap
And softly dream as dragons do
With strange visions often imbued
With talks in the delusive deep.
[Dreaming in the Future]
I am dreaming
In the future
